Welcome Everyone to the Tactical Tavern! I am your host Tomas Alas and in this video we are reviewing the Cold Steel Hold Out 3! This is an Everyday Carry blade with some possible tactical use in mind. It is the smallest in the Hold Out family with a larger 4”(discontinued) and 6” blade we recently reviewed. I feel this is the perfect EDC blade shape with classic design inspiration from the Scottish Sgian-dubh. The capabilities are endless with geometry that is great for slicing and thrusting capbiltiies. The high versatility doesnt stop at the blade because this also festrues and comfortable and plain handle which allows for multiple grip comfortably slicel through a variety of materials. The Demko triad lock is also notorious for taking a beating as seen in Cold Steel proof videos. All of this culminates into a versatile and ergonomic EDC knife that is smal, yet packs a punch with real world outdoor capabilities.
