DIY Apothecary | IKEA KALLAX Furniture Flip

Hello and welcome back!

My name is Jennifer and in this video I'm going to show you how I turned my IKEA KALLAX shelf into an old rustic looking Apothecary cabinet.

It has elements that are inspired by Hogwarts Legacy especially the interior from the Room of Requirement, but the color scheme is also inspired by the DARK ARTS theme with the green and teal shades.

And to enhance more the illusion that this cabinet is from the Hogwarts universe, I added some labels with apothecary ingredients and potions from Harry Potter/Hogwarts Legacy.

I might add some wooden boards on the top and bottom of the cabinet to make it a bit stronger and also so I can have the ability to place the legs further in. And I might also in the future color the insides of the doors and inserts with a darker shade. But for now the outer visible parts are completely finished and the look I was going for!

- Phthalo green Pan Pastel
- Contact glue
- Chalk paint(black, white, chocolate brown)
- Acrylic paint(yellow ochre, burnt umber, ivory black)
- Soft Pastels in rust shades and olive green
