Amy Cooper is a white woman from New York, who was filmed on the Rambles segment of Central Party on the Memorial Day on the Viral video calling police to a black guy, telling her to tether her puppy. The event exploded quickly across social media on Monday 25 May. The video was shared by Christian Cooper and Melody Cooper, the guy who she called in 911. As of Monday night, the video was downloaded more than five million times.The footage reveals Amy Cooper, 41, asking Christian Cooper that she should complain to the authorities to inform dispatchers that he and her dog were attacking her. The video does not depict Christian Cooper intimidating him, but reveals him to be detached from Amy Cooper, to persuade her to contact the police and to keep away. Once she declined to put a lead on her dog and moved against him, Christian Cooper says he started to capture the accident.
