Mozambique is facing growing political instability following the recent presidential elections. Post-election violence erupted after the opposition challenged results which declared Frelimo's Daniel Chapo as the winner. Civil society groups are calling for the Southern African Development Community to intervene. SADC's Prof. Kula Theletsane says the next step is to deploy the "the panel of elders" to meet with the relevant parties to find an amicable solution.
