How to make a carbon electrode

Описание к видео How to make a carbon electrode

I show how to make carbon electrodes basically from wood and sugar.
The achieved temperatures while carbonizing the wood and also the sugar will be decisive for the resistance of the electrodes.
Non-impregnated electrodes are useful if gases should be stored, but you have to use graphite as current collector in this case. If you impregnate the electrodes, they will get a smoother surface and be water-proof. You can use nearly any metal as current collector for this electrodes.

Note: Before soaked with resin solution, the electrodes should be really dry!

The information about the amount of substances used in the video represent the proportions. They are meant to be an orientation.
If the carbon paste you get seems too dry, just add a bit of water or sugar-solution.
