So I recently watched “The Substance” which stars Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley…
The movie is directed by French Filmmaker Coralie Fargeat, who also wrote it and the film won best screenplay at the Cannes Film Festival.

So the movie is basically about a celebrity, Demi Moore, who is past her prime and is fading out.
She begins to lose shows and deals and one day finds out about this serum that creates a younger, hotter version of yourself.
There are stringent guidelines to using the serum…and once she decides to take it – Margaret Qualley is created – who is a younger hotter version of Demi Moore.

The rest of the movie is centered around the power dynamics of the 2 and the extent to which you’d go if you’re fame and power hungry.
