The Proace and Proace Citty vans, together with their VERSO 2025 combi-van variant, have led the way in battery electric powertrains as part of Toyota’s multi-technology approach to carbon neutrality. All models in the extensive Toyota Professional range now benefit from electrified powertrains. This underlines Toyota’s commitment to offering all its customers a variety of affordable and practical options to accelerate the pace of CO2 reductions, whether in their personal or professional lives, and thus contribute to a successful transition to low-emission mobility.

This strong product range and commitment to customer service are at the heart of Toyota Professional’s ambition to strengthen its position in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) market. In 2022, Toyota LCV sales reached 119,000 units in Europe, and are on track to set a new record of over 140,000 units this year. Toyota intends to accelerate this growth and aims to exceed 180,000 sales, with a market share of 7% in 2025, to become the sixth largest player in the market.

With their bold new design and segment-leading features, the compact Proace Citty panel van and the Proace Citty Verso passenger car version offer efficient mobility solutions to business customers and active families.

Particularly flexible, the Proace Citty is available as a panel van, in two lengths, with an extended cab or as a passenger vehicle that can accommodate up to seven passengers, the segment record, for the daily journeys of active families. Despite its compact dimensions, this van in all its configurations can comfortably accommodate three passengers in the front seats.

Many features of the Proace Citty are benchmarks in its segment, including intelligent load transport solutions that increase the volume to a capacity of 4.40 m³. The all-electric model offers a payload of 800 kg, while the petrol or diesel versions have a payload of up to 1,000 kg.

Toyota knows that a compact van often serves as both a mobile office and a means of transport to and from work. With highly effective connectivity features and active safety systems, as well as a flexible and practical interior, the Proace Citty meets all needs.

In addition to having the capabilities and equipment needed to get the job done, the all-electric Proace Citty and Proce Citty Verso also have the power, performance, driving pleasure and range, with zero tailpipe emissions.

The 100 kW (136 hp) electric motor, combined with a 50 kWh battery, offers an improved range of 330 km (WTLP combined cycle), 50 km more than the previous model. To top up your energy, a 100 kW DC fast charger can recharge the battery up to 80% in around 30 minutes.

The class-leading 1.5-litre diesel engine develops up to 130 hp, depending on the version, and can be combined with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. An efficient 1.2-litre petrol engine (110 hp) is also available with a six-speed manual transmission.

The PROACE family is expanding with the all-new PROACE MAX, Toyota’s first large van, which offers an outstanding payload and a loading volume that sets a benchmark in its segment. It also provides all the benefits of 100% electric driving, with an exclusive design.

The PROACE MAX’s high-performance 100% battery-electric drivetrain provides a smooth and comfortable ride. It offers a power of 200 kW (272 hp) combined with a generous torque of 410 Nm, for an impressive autonomy of up to 420 km (WTLP combined cycle).
