A short, steep hike up Prospect Mt in Lake George, NY on August 29, 2024. This hike is VERY easy to get to, as it starts on a side street right in Lake George. It's relatively steep overall with only a couple, short flat stretches. However, the trail is marked, easy to follow, and leads to fantastic views over historic Lake George, NY. Roughly 3 miles round trip with 1,500 feet of elevation gain, this is a challenging hike, but well worth the effort!
