What is the Busduct System?
Although it is also called with names such as busbar, busway, it has been transferred to technical documents as the most accurate version of the technique with the name busduct.

The busbar line defined by ANZS in Australia and New Zealand, by NEMA, UL, CSA, ANSI and IEEE in North America; by CCC in China; by IEC in Europe and other parts of the world is a prefabricated electrical distribution system consisting of busbars in a protective housing, including straight lengths, fittings, devices and accessories. Busduct carries electricity and connects to electrical equipment such as switchgear, panel and transformer.
Busduct Components
Busduct is a prefabricated and modular system designed for the distribution and transportation of electrical energy. Its general structure consists of a combination of aluminum or copper conductors with insulation materials and environments in a metal body in accordance with the standards.

Busduct components include:

Conductors conduct electricity; they are made from aluminum or copper and vary in size.

Housing, an aluminum or steel enclosure to contain the conductors.

Insulating system made of a combination of epoxy, polyester film or air; it separates the conductors from each other to prevent electrical faults.

Fittings such as elbows, offsets help to properly route busduct from one electrical connection or termination.

Where are busduct systems used?
Busduct systems today; along with mission critical facilities, data centers, industrial facilities, large residential complexes, petrochemical and electrical facilities, it is also widely used in warehouses, parking lots and offices.
