The India Quiz

Held on October 29, 2023, the India Quiz was helmed by EM Bhargava, who has conducted the Kaikuu India quizzes from inception in 2013.

The content was collated from contributions by KC members Archana Das, Basab Dahal, Harish Krishna, Krishan Shetty, Murali Duggineni, Siva Rama Prasad, Srihari, Nitish Khadiya, and of course EM Bhargava himself tying it all together.

The goal was to use HD cinematography and sound, then edit out all the waiting time and real-life delays, to create a tight and efficient watching experience, something that feels immediate and can be participated in real-time.

The hope is that quiz lovers everywhere: KC expats who contributed monetarily and could not travel to the venue, those who did travel, the local ones, members of other city clubs, and quizzers worldwide, will share it, and have watch parties 🥳 - If it is used like that, it will be a fitting tribute to the institution that is K-Circle.

They edited several angles of videography from the prelims and final, compressing an actual runtime of 4 hours to 1.5 hours, to create this crisp movie-like experience.
