Eminence Advisory’s Dimitri Burshtein says economic policies from the last 20 years have delivered Australia “a decline, not in cost-of-living, but in the standard of living”.

“This Budget will have, again, a record level of taxation, a record level of spending,” Mr Burshtein told Sky News Australia host Chris Kenny.

“I would venture, within the scope of the forward estimates, we would hit one trillion dollars of gross debt and as a proportion of GDP government expenditure, the government is going to increase.”
