"West Sandy Creek Winery is a 360-acre ranch at the edge of the Sam Houston National Forest near Huntsville, Texas. WSCW is a family-owned and operated business, founded on our decades-long love of wine and winemaking. The property features vineyards where we grow our own grapes, the winery and tasting room where we make our award-winning wines, events like live music and bingo nights, ample space for weddings and corporate functions, unique winery cabins, and plenty of room for the animals that call the ranch home. During Harvest Day, we a chance to taste many wines, including the 2020 Texas Blanc Du Bois Dry - Estate and the Bounty Land Crossings, a blend of Texas Lenoir (Black Spanish), Sangiovese, and Grenache. These were two of our favorites we had the opportunity to try over the Wine Harvest weekend. The winemakers, Sandy McGinley and family, along with renowned wine consultant Arnulfo Perez, worked diligently to harvest on July 21st 2024 rite before a full moon.

This Bounty Land Crossings is a blend of Texas Lenoir (Black Spanish), Sangiovese, and Grenache. This table red comes across as heavy and silky while still tasting light and heavy at the same time. It's very smooth, with notes of molasses, and warm in the finish. It pairs well with denser, heavier foods.

This dry white wine is handcrafted from grapes grown and harvested in our vineyards. Its floral aroma and primrose color complement its apple and pear flavors. It has a nice acidity that lingers in the mouth; pair it with fried or rich foods.
