Lui Sit was born in Hong Kong, raised in Australia and now lives in London. [As of 2021] She is writing her first middle grade children’s book and also writes adult short fiction and memoir. Her memoir short story was longlisted in Spread the Word’s Life Writing Prize and shortlisted for Penguin WriteNow. She is an alumnus of the London Writers Award (Children’s and YA) scheme and won the Superlative 2020 Short Story Competition. She is a recipient of The Brief Pause development scheme for short story writers. Her short stories are published in several journals and an upcoming anthology.
