Manlilikha: Exploring the Depths of Modern Filipino Poetry

Manlilikha is the inaugural literary folio created by the students of the Creative Writing program at the Department of Filipino and Philippine Literature (DFPP) in the College of Arts and Letters at the University of the Philippines Diliman.

It serves as a platform for students to publish their creative works, providing space for alternative publications like zines and anthologies. The folio reflects the commitment of DFPP to nurture young writers who use the Filipino language and embody a patriotic spirit in their writing.

The title Manlilikha pays homage to the anthology "Manlilikha" spearheaded by Rogelio Mangahas, a notable Filipino writer from the 1960s. The folio aims to unite diverse styles and forms of writing, showcasing works that are deeply connected to the traditions of Filipino literature while also pushing boundaries to create something new.
