Kundalini Kriyas are spontaneous and involuntary movements that arise often when meditating or practicing yoga and even sometimes when deeply relaxing or falling asleep. They arise as the powerful and profound energy of spiritual awakening begins to give birth in the body. They can be quite frightening, confusing or disorienting, for the individual who may be experiencing spontaneous movements. They can show up in the form of spontaneous arm, leg, spine or neck jerking, spasms, trembling, tremors, quivering, jumping or twitching movements. Other examples include spontaneous moving the head side to side or eyes twitching, or shutting or squeezing shut, the tongue sticking out, strange jaw movements, spine arching, or spontaneously and involuntarily moving into yogic asanas. It is important for one to have a teacher or guide or support person, while experiencing such disorienting things. Join us for this conversation where Craig responds to questions about kriyas from the thousands of individuals he has worked with who experienced spontaneous kundalini kriyas and movements.
