Rumpke Landfill | EE Virtual Field Trips

Join Keep Cincinnati Beautiful on a virtual field trip (grades 1st-6th) of the Rumpke Sanitary Landfill in Colerain Township, Ohio. You will have fun exploring how landfills work and getting to know Cincinnati landmark, Mt. Rumpke.

Education Goals & Targets:
1. Identify the differences between a dump and a landfill
2. Learn how a landfill is constructed and operated
3. Understand ways individuals can reduce what goes into the landfill
