Aeroregional 737-500 Landing in Quito

A 45 minute flight sounded better than a nine-hour bus ride so I decided to fly back to Quito from Cuenca. When I saw this old bird from 1991 available, I could not resist. It did give me pause that the website had no English option and payment went through Paypal. Additionally, Aeroregional had a decompression incident in May with this 737-500 (https://www.aeroinside.com/18134/aero.... The cabin had the original China Southern seats and the crew did not check for seat belts before take off. The website (obviously no app) did not allow seat selection, and I ended up in the second-to-last row when the counter printed my boarding pass. I asked the purser if I could move forward, and he told me just before we began moving to come up to row 2 (possible also due to weight & balance since the front had practically nobody).

So I survived and for the sake of you, my YT people, and my spreadsheet, took these two videos at my peril.
