November 6 - 3rd Degree has become well known for its follow-ups. This week we look at three controversial stories that really grabbed our viewers' attention. Earlier this year we looked at the phenomenon known as Izikhothane, where township kids from working class families blow their parents hard earned cash on designer labels, compete for who has the most expensive clothes and even burn money. The response to the 3rd Degree programme was enormous. Now a former Skothane talks to us about how he has come to see the error of his ways. King of bling Kenny Kunene, held up by these youngsters as a role model, is speaking out against the practice. Then we look at the latest in the murder case of Anni Dewani. We hear from her grieving father about how the family is struggling to find closure. We question whether Anni's husband British resident Shrien Dewani will ever stand trial for her murder in South Africa. And we revisit 'Susan', the young Zimbabwean woman living in Cape Town, who was savagely attacked with acid by two strangers on a taxi. A year on and she is finally prepared to talk about who she believes masterminded this attack. We see how remarkably she is doing in her journey towards healing and recovery.
