I got quoted £2800 to install UPVC French doors, so tried fitting them myself

A few months ago, I got a quote from a local double glazing company to replace these old sliding patio doors and a window to UPVC French doors for a total of £5400.... I'm not sure if this price is average or reasonable to you, but it was a lot more than I was expecting.

So I ended up calling Roundbrand Ltd, the company my Dad always uses back in Doncaster for initially just one quote (the smaller French doors) and it was a third of the price, with delivery 70+, miles away, so I decided to DIY it myself.

The big ones we installed in this video were quoted by a local company at £2800, but ended up paying 1404 (includes VAT).
