Artisan Viking Turn Shoes

You can buy the boot pattern on our website: https://foxesandravens.com/collection...
or the shoe pattern: https://foxesandravens.com/collection...
and Join our Facebook Group:   / 559847828432531
Our goal is to try to bring together the people using our pattern with the people who want to acquire our shoes! Since we're no longer producing shoes or shoe kits, we hope this way the hundreds of people who have our pattern can help fill in the void for all those interested in having turn shoes.

Recommended Materials:
- 9-11oz veg tan leather for the soles (I use Oakleaf veg tan leather from tandyleather.com) DO NOT USE SOLE OR SADDLE BENDS
- 3oz soft leather for the upper (I use Kodiak Oily Side from tandyleather.com)
- Waxed thread (I use sewing awl thread)

Recommended Tools:
- A pencil
- An x-acto knife or other sharp knife
- A french edge beveler
- A straight awl, aka a scratch awl
- A curved inseaming awl (such as a Carbone inseaming awl: https://sorrellnotionsandfindings.com...)
- Harness needles (I use large, size 000)

If you make shoes using my pattern, just keep in mind that it's for personal use only: if you would like to use the pattern for commercial purposes (for selling shoes in your own shop), contact me about licensing at [email protected]
