“A Cruel Angel’s Thesis 残酷な天使のテーゼ” 「Neon Genesis Evangelion 新世紀エヴァンゲリオン」 OP [Animenz Arr.]

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the delayed video once again, but this week I’ll bring you the true all time classic, one of the easiest song melody to recognize - A Cruel Angel’s Thesis. I have personally never watched the anime, but I’ve been fed with the song’s melody again and again I just got used to it. I was browsing through possible anime covers to do, and I ran into this song’s arrangement by Animenz. Just by listening to the first 30 seconds, I decided to play it. Turned out it was worth the time, countless hours of practices and recordings led to this best version among all of my trials.

This will be the first time of my team trying some new stuff, which you will see in the video. Credit to my editor who did some great work to add some depth to the video, and hopefully this is something that can once again catch the audience’s attention that hasn’t been seen for quite a long time.

There are still multiple mistakes, but from what I first imagined myself to play like, this is probably the best Animenz arrangements I’ve played outside of maybe Vogel im Käfig. So I hope you guys enjoy, and re-experience this masterpiece from my piano cover!
