Night of the Ghouls (1959)

A con-man mystic, Dr. Acula (!) holds seances in the dilapidated remains of a supposedly haunted house, bilking customers out of their money; until he 's met with the vengeful ghosts who actually inhabit the old house. The movie serves as a semi-sequel to 1955's Bride of the Monster, and the usual stable of Ed's actors are present, including Criswell, Tor Johnson (reprising his role as Lobo), former Western star Kenne Duncan, Duke Moore, and young ingenues Valda Hansen and Jeannie Stevens as the Ghosts. The film is also the last in the unofficial "Kelton Trilogy" as Paul Marco plays his iconic role as Kelton the Cop once again. The last movie of Ed Wood's Golden Age and the films he had a true passion for making.
