1. Uninstall Widgets Using PowerShell

This method removes the Windows Web Experience Pack, which powers the Widgets feature.

Open the Start menu, search for PowerShell.

Right-click on Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.

In the PowerShell window, enter the following command and press Enter:

powershell
Get-AppxPackage WebExperience | Remove-AppxPackage
This command will uninstall the Windows Web Experience Pack from your user account, removing the Widgets feature entirely

2. Uninstall Widgets Using Windows Package Manager (winget)

Alternatively, you can use the Windows Package Manager to remove the Widgets pack.

Open PowerShell as administrator.

Run the following command:

powershell
winget uninstall --id 9MSSGKG348SP
This will also remove the Windows Web Experience Pack and thus the Widgets feature from Windows 11

If you want to remove the Widgets feature for all users on the system, use this PowerShell command:

This ensures the package is removed system-wide

What Happens After Uninstalling?

The Widgets icon will disappear from the taskbar.

The option to enable or disable Widgets in Taskbar Settings will no longer be available.

The Windows key + Q shortcut and swipe gestures for Widgets will not work
