[Hetalia CMV] Rose Red (England and Elizabeth)

Declared illegitimate. Accused traitor and heretic. Crowned Queen. The queen is dead - long live the queen! The year is 1558, and 25 year old Elizabeth I, succeeds her Catholic half sister Mary, as Queen over England, Ireland and France. She is thrown into a world of politics, secrecy and desire. However, being queen comes with a catch - she must rule amongst the living breathing nations themselves! Spain and France attempt to woo her for their own gain, and England only seems to butt heads with his unruly leader. Elizabeth seeks solace with her only friend at court, Lord Robert Dudley - but even he has something to hide. The Catholic church wishes for the downfall of this heretic queen, allying with Spain to see her go no matter the cost.
Love and loss are fraught in the history books - and it takes a long time to understand that friends can be found in the most unlikely of places.

WOW it's finally out!! I've wanted to make this for three years and it's finally here! The first part in our Elizabethan Hetalia tale~ For once upon a time Queen Elizabeth I announced to her court that she was 'married to England'. Well, we sure didn't need any more encouragement than that! Thank you to everyone in our brilliant cast for taking part! We filmed on one of the hottest weekends in summer, dying under layers of satin, velvet and brocade - but it was definitely worth it. Sword fights, choreographed dancing and lots of standing around~ We work hard! What's a bit of rope burn for the sake of a film~?
