So we haven’t watched a comedy like this in a while on the channel at the time this has dropped anyway and with the WNBA and the NBA Finals starting we wanted to check some basketball material! So this is 2002s Juwanna Mann. When pro basketball star Jamal Jeffries (Miguel A. Núñez Jr.) gets booted from the big leagues after an outrageous on-court stunt, his unwillingness to give up the sport leads to desperate measures. Dressed in drag, Jamal calls himself Juwanna Mann and becomes a star player on a women's basketball team, helping them climb the ranks. He also quickly develops a crush on team captain Michelle (Vivica A. Fox), but cannot act on his feelings for fear of his true identity being discovered. This goes along with the Big mamas house and Nutty Professor changing character to play a whole different person it’s absolutely comedy and one of the craziest basketball stories ever haha
