🍪 Almond & Chocolate Dipped Biscotti Full Recipe ✨

Ingredients:

Biscotti:
• 4 eggs + 1 egg (for egg wash)
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups vegetable oil
• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup roughly crushed almonds
• 4 tsp baking powder
• Zest and juice of 1 lemon
• 4 cups all-purpose flour (plus 1 cup for shaping)

Chocolate Dip:
• 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
• 1 tbsp butter
• 2 tbsp milk

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a stand mixer, beat eggs and sugar on high until light and fluffy.
3. Add oil, milk, lemon zest and juice, baking powder, flour, and almonds. Mix until just combined.
4. Transfer dough to a floured surface. Shape into long loaves and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
5. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 20 minutes.
6. Let cool for 30 minutes, then slice into biscotti pieces.
7. Lower oven to 200°F (95°C) and bake biscotti for 45 minutes until dry and crisp.
8. For the chocolate dip, melt chocolate in a double boiler. Stir in butter and milk until smooth.
9. Dip cooled biscotti and allow to set overnight.
