Easy Steps to Remove Roof Molding on 2005 Acura TSX

In this video I show you how I removed the roof molding on my 2005 Acura TSX. I needed to remove the roof molding so I can paint them because the factory rubber coating had peeled off over the years.

To get a lasting coat of paint you have to sand the surface, prime the surface, and then spray paint the surface. Multiple light coats is better than one thick coat. in order of events - sanded surface, cleaned surface, sprayed one coat of primer, sanded primer, cleaned, second coat of primer, sanded primer, cleaned, first coat of paint, second coat, third coat.
