FFVI Low Level Final Boss Pt 1

Several years ago, I decided to play through Final Fantasy VI (III for the SNES) with the goal of beating it at the lowest level possible.

This is the battle against the final boss, Kefka, at these low level. This particular video is the first part.

Celes, Setzer, Terra, Locke, Relm, Sabin, Edgar, Shadow, and Umaro are at Level 6. Cyan is at Level 7. Strago and Gogo are at Level 8. Mog is at Level 11. Gau is at level 15.

Characters used to defeat Kefka:
Edgar - Illumina, Paladin Shld, Genji Helmet, Force Armor, Economizer, White Cape (MBlock%: 131%)
Terra - Enhancer, Force Shld, Mystery Veil, Force Armor, Economizer, White Cape (MBlock%: 127%)
Sabin - Magus Rod, Force Shld, Bard's Hat, Tao Robe, Merit Award, White Cape (MBlock%: 114%)
Celes - Enhancer, Aegis Shld, Mystery Veil, Force Armor, Economizer, White Cape (MBlock%: 119%)

For this to work, everyone's MBlock% stat must be as high as possible. In the SNES version, your ability to dodge attacks is completely based on the MBlock%. Evade % has no effect at all. A character can block any block-able attack if at 128%. Unfortunately, that means Sabin and Celes can still get hit occasionally. Sabin has the Merit Award equipped so he can have the other equipment that raises MBlock%. Sabin's purpose is to Bum Rush everyone (obtainable through Duncan despite low level) while everyone else sets up Life 3, Haste2, and spam Ultima.

My characters do not have the spell "Quick" to make thing a little more challenging despite that Relm's sketch glitch was used to acquire countless items such as the Economizers (reduces spell cost to 1 MP each) and others to sell for much money. Part 1 Comments:
It is helpful for the order to be Sabin, Terra, Celes, then Edgar. When the group goes to the next tier to fight, the bottom character is first to go. That would make the magic users go before Sabin who is last who can offer Life 3 and Haste2 support if needed at the start of that tier.
Probably should have set the Config to Memory so I wouldn't have to scroll to use Ultima all the time.
Celes gets hit super early!
Seeing other people's strategies, I acknowledge how slow my process is. I saw a much faster battle with Gogo using the Io rage (which I don't have) to use Flare Star, Edgar's Air Anchor for two of the enemies and Debilitator to make the weakness fire for Flare Star, Strago's Step Mine attack (which I don't have), and Celes with the MBlock% at 127% and a True Knight relic to block all attacks from people with Runic to stop magic.
