In this cautionary video, I show the unfortunate aftermath of a too-common housewashing mistake seen here on olde Cape Cod: using the wrong tool for the job at hand. In this case, older white cedar shingled siding was simply carpet-bombed with chlorine bleach rather than cleaned in a manner more suited to the siding's condition.

Would you hire a carpenter with just one tool in their toolbox? Don't you expect a pro to have lots of tools at their disposal (and to know how to use them)? In this unregulated, unlicensed industry, be careful who you hire.
