Johnny Hates Jazz is an original and notable band formed in London, England, United Kingdom in 1985 and initially composed of Clark Datchler (voice, piano, guitar, keyboards, composition and production) and Mike Nocito (backing vocals, guitar, bass), sound engineering and production), initially accompanied by Calvin Hayes (voice, synthesizer, drums, drum machine and acting) and then temporarily by Phil Tornalley (voice, guitar, bass, piano, drums and composition). Successfully active since then, remains that way to this day.
