Devon, England, UK | Garden Walk at Hotel Endsleigh | 4K Walking Experience with Binaural Sound

Join us as we amble around the 'Garden Walk' at Hotel Endsleigh in Devon, England. This video was recorded at c.7pm on an early September evening in 2020. Experience the stunning gardens at this 5 star hotel in the Tamar Valley on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. The grounds were designed by Humphry Repton c.200 years ago and here you can enjoy a 20 minute stroll around part of the estate.

To briefly explain, binaural audio is sometimes referred to as 3D stereo audio, it allows the listener to experience the direction of audio, as if they were there at the time of recording. You should be able to tell if the sound originated in front of you, behind you, to your left, or to your right. This is made possible by recording through microphones positioned either side of a head, thus capturing and replicating the sounds that would be experienced by ears instead of a traditional stereo microphone.
