This documentary is about the weaving process from Pochampally village which is located in Nalgonda (Dist), Telangana State. South India is known for its magnificent temples, unique cultures and the art of weaving and Wearing Sarees. Pochampalli Hand Weaving IKAT Sarees are one of the most run type all around the world. The sarees made here are called as Pochampally Ikat Sarees, IKat is a traditional unique technique that is used to dye garments. To everyone's surprise over 10,000 families participate in the weaving process just int this small area, this area is now known as Silk City.
