Tin Can - Blind playthrough - Part 05: Sandbox mode to studying the devices in the escape pod.

Alright, playing this sandbox mode gives me a little bit of understanding and confidence in this game. Still not sure if I am ready for the 15 minute challenge. I will not shy away from googling since it saves me a lot of frustration. The game doesn't tell you a lot. I don't expect the game to hold hands with everything, but it might be nice to know how to clean the air filters for example. You have to drop them on the floor to do so, or you can actually interact with them while they are still attached into the system. I wish the game was a bit more transparant in telling these kind of things. Once you know it, it is not really part of the puzzle solving, so I don't understand why not just explain the mechanic. It could have been included in the manual.

So far, I haven't really been able to enjoy this game because of these kind of things. But I still want to give it a chance. Because maybe once I do know all these mechanics then I can finally start focussing on solving the real issues the escape pod runs into.

Next time I'll try the 15 minute challenge again. See how that will go!
