2021 Honda Rebel 1100: Learning the DCT Quirks and Ridability Issues

Описание к видео 2021 Honda Rebel 1100: Learning the DCT Quirks and Ridability Issues

Today is Thursday, March 11, 2021, and I'm still putting break-in miles on my new 2021 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT. Skip to the end of this description for clickable time indexes. #rebel1100 #hondarebel1100 #cmx1100

I ordered my Honda accessories for the Rebel, but they won't be available until late March and into late April. In the meanwhile, I have added the Grip Puppies foam overgrips to add more girth and vibration insulation to the factory grips, and I have mounted my Beeline Moto GPS unit.

The Rebel 1100 performs very well, and I'm getting more comfortable with its personality and the DCT transmission. The DCT has a few quirks, but the convenience factor and overall performance is a big win, in my opinion. The DCT makes trundling along in city traffic much easier because you're never feathering a clutch or hunting for the correct gear at the last second... just roll the throttle and GO!

My next video in this series will be the installation of the CRG Hindsight Lane Splitter mirrors and the AirHawk Cruiser R seat cushion. Cheers! 😉👍
