🎬 That's a wrap on Season 17 of The Blox! 🎬

For 5 days, The Crafty Cask participated in "the largest TV show on the planet for startups", The Blox! What an experience this was, both for me personally as an entrepreneur and human and for my company that I love so much.

This week has reminded and taught me so much about myself, resilience, and the power of and need for community. I feel like I have my power and self-esteem back, when honestly I hadn't realize how much of it I had lost over the past couple of years. Here's a quick summary of what this experience looked like:

We had literally zero down time for 5 days in a row, starting at 8:30am and a curfew sending us back to our rooms by midnight at the latest. We had 2 hours of class each morning. We were then split into 9 pods with 15 minutes to prepare a 3 minute pitch for each day's challenge, followed by a 15 minute consultation with a judge/mentor. It intentionally took you out of your comfort zone, but the palpable support from EVERYONE there was awe inspiring, especially given this is a competition. The insights I've gained are invaluable and will continue to shape the future of me as an entrepreneur and my company. A few stats:

15+ TCC pitches & solo presentations

15 hours of travel

60 hours of learning, networking, & filming

93 badass start-ups competing

117 entrepreneurs and new friends
