Spellbreak after patch 1.2 is said to be one of the biggest the game has ever had. Today I'll cover the new items, talents, and cover some theoretical builds, as well as give you some bonus info.

Build Descriptions & How They Work:

1. Lightning Build (maybe Lightyear would be a cool name?)- if you run runic fluency and set of the lightning strike sorcery, you'll have three charges. Drink a knowledge potion for two more chrono charges and two extra lightning strike sorceries, to give you five charges. Now, before you engage, activate your lightning sorcery on your opponent and gain another chrono charge, for six total charges. If you can get another knowledge potion, even more. This build uses scavenger (or fervor to focus on damage output) and recovery as well as runic fluency. Once you get your chrono timing down, this build will be very hard to beat.

2. "Avatar" Build- using tempest (wind) as your main to represent the iconic airbender himself as well as staying above your opponents, you use dash or springstep for more mobility, and you'd run spellslinger, scavenger (or fervor for squads), and ambidextrous. The point is to stay elusive and take advantage of the extreme sorcery reduction you get from the tempest class mixed with the effect from spellslinger, and to take advantage of the damage buff from squall. Using your tornadoes to keep your airborne, you can rain down boulders, dragonfires, lightning strikes, or whatever else at your opponents, and even switch out more than two gauntlets for a triple combo like a dragonfire tornado. This build will take a lot of practice to master but will pay off in the long run.

3. "No Belt" Build- in this build, I recommend maining toxicologist or frostborn, but it is not required, as the elements and fighting style is exchangeable, as well as the rune of choice (can't go wrong with dash or springstep though). This build focuses on one them: power without a belt. Using vigor, we get an extra 25//30/35/50 health to make up for not having a belt. Most of the time we only get an epic belt for 80 shield anyways, so it doesn't make a huge difference at all. Paired with vigor, this build also requires fervor and recklessness. Recklessness gives a 15/18/20/25% damage output and the same percentage of reduced mana cost, given you don't have any shield. With the high cast speed mixed with a constant 25% damage buff (and potentially a LOT more depending on the class you run), this build will need an aggressive, heavy hitting playstyle. Side note: this can also work with vigor, scavenger, and recovery to be extremely tanky.
