Asada is a vast canyon-city carved into the red and golden cliffs of northern Gondwana, a continent that straddles the equator of the known world. Built along a broad, turquoise river and shaped by time and ritual, Asada is home to the Maesune, an earth-wielding people who draw power from their living goddess, Maes. Through synchronized movement and percussive dance, the Maesune channel the rhythm of the earth itself, shaping stone and soil with divine precision. At the river's bend stands the Temple of Maes, a towering pyramid embedded in the canyon wall, said to house the spirit of the goddess. Asada is not only a sacred site but also the political, cultural, and economic heart of the world—receiving trade and tribute from southern Laurasia and acting as a nexus for knowledge, faith, and power.
