Review of the Huawei Watch GT 2e, a budget-friendly fitness tracker and smartwatch that costs well under £200 here in the UK. I've been testing the Watch GT2e for a month now and there's a lot to love, from the slick design to the diverse exercise tracking features. But is it one of the best wearables for 2020?

One of the best bits of this Huawei smartwatch is the price, as it's less than half the cost of the Apple Watch Series 5 and many WearOS devices. Despite being cheaper, the GT 2e still packs plenty of great features. The fitness smarts include support for around 100 exercises, along with heart rate and SPO2 measurements and GPS built in. You also have stress-busting tools in there, to help when you're feeling a bit run down.

Of course the Huawei Watch GT 2e is a bit limited in places. You can't download new apps to the device, for instance, unlike on the Apple Watch and other rivals. But the battery life is among the best and this smartwatch impresses a lot for that low cost.
