To commemorate the Month of Indonesia’s Independence, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Vientiane proudly hosted Pentas Nusantara on 23 August 2025 at the Laos Ensemble Theater, Vientiane.

The event served as a vibrant showcase of Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage through captivating traditional and contemporary performances of dance, music, and song, as well as a delightful presentation of authentic Indonesian cuisine.

The celebration was honored by the presence of distinguished guests from the diplomatic corps, Lao government officials, and representatives from both public and private sectors, along with members of the Indonesian community in Vientiane.

Together, they shared in an evening of cultural appreciation and friendship, reflecting the spirit of unity in diversity that defines Indonesia’s national identity.

Through Pentas Nusantara, the Embassy aimed to strengthen people-to-people connections and promote deeper cultural understanding between Indonesia and Laos. The event also highlighted Indonesia’s enduring commitment to fostering goodwill, harmony, and cooperation through cultural diplomacy.
