This is a very shortened version of a DVD that I have made of this trip as a passenger on this 45th Anniversary of the last steam hauled train to be run by British Rail in 1968. It ran from Liverpool Lime Street station to Carlisle via Manchester Piccadilli and the Settle Carlisle line. A vacant open door window was at a premium so some of my filming was through a glass window.
