From Now On was a track that really took me by surprise the first time I heard it in game. Immediately after entering my first battle in Chapter 4 my first thought was "wait a minute who the hell are you and what did you do with Rude Buster?" and then the drop happened like 15 seconds in and then it became "okay fine you can stay" lmao.

I really wanted to do some kind of house-styled remix for this one and I'm extremely pleased with the result! Because it was thematically appropriate I threw in one of my old original Deltarune melodies from 2019 that you might recognize! ;) Also wrote an entire original section at 1:39 which was a ton of fun to work on too! I did have a bit of trouble towards the end when trying to figure out how to loop the track without it sounding awkward. The original "finished" version of this remix was 5 and a half minutes with the second half basically just being a 1:1 copy paste of the first half which really rubbed me the wrong way. While I usually like to loop my tracks I try to add some details into the second half to shake things up but couldn't really find a way to do that with this one. I tried a few different things until I decided to just axe the loop completely since looping it just made it sound like it was dragging on and on with no real purpose. I decided that it'd just make more sense for y'all to listen to the song twice with a cleaner arrangement instead if you really wanted that experience LOL. I think it just goes to show that song length isn't really a clear indicator of how much work went into a given track. Overall this remix to me about 13 hours and other than having to touch up the arrangement towards the end it actually didn't give me too much trouble once I found my groove with it. I definitely consider it a worthy successor to my Rude Buster remix!

As you know I usually only upload about once every 3 or 4 months (if that) and atm I'm trying to aim for around an upload every 2 weeks-
