Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has approved financial assistance for the victim’s father, Tarun Prasad Chakma, and assured strict action against the perpetrators. Five people have been arrested, including two minors sent to a juvenile home. Police continue to hunt the absconding accused, with a reward of Rs 25,000 and a team dispatched to Nepal.
