All New 2021 Acura ilx premium - Full Review

Описание к видео All New 2021 Acura ilx premium - Full Review

Acura ILX is currently in its first Generation that was introduced in 2013 and drives over the same platform as the Honda Civic Si which will be discontinued in 2021. The last update was a refresh in 2019 that introduced a new A-Spec trim with sportier styling, plus a diamond-shaped grille up front to match the rest of the Acura lineup. The A-Spec trim has added some visual verve but no more horsepower. The 2021 Acura ILX will be a carryover and offer plenty of standard features and exceptional driving impressions.

It will get various aesthetic tweaks and a speculated performance-oriented Type S trim sometime in the near future. Acura ILX is slowly taking over the entry-level sedan segment as its competition is thinning down for 2021. With the discontinuation of the Buick Regal and Ford Fusion for 2021, it has a lesser competition to worry about. For the year 2021, the ILX takes on the likes of Kia K5, and Mazda 3. The 2021 Acura ILX is priced from $26,975 which is marginally higher than the 2020 model, a mere $50 to be precise.

2021 Acura ILX carries over the 2.4-liter naturally-aspirated engine paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission that pumps out 201-hp and 180 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels only. Like the recently revealed 2021 TLX, it is however speculated that the new ILX will get a turbocharged engine for more power and efficiency, fingers crossed.

The standard powertrain setup is not dull either as it feels snappy around cities and will run fatigue-free all day long. Another rumor has it that Acura might introduce a “Forced induction method” which will be able to add 50 more horsepower and 40 pound-feet of more torque.
