New single & video – ‘Nämä päivät eivät jaa sympatiaa’

Vainoa is a band formed in 2016 in Helsinki, blending fast and fierce hardcore with elements of extreme metal and occasional slower, oppressive atmospheres.

The third release of the band, titled “Pimennys“, is a thematic continuation of the previous EP, “Pelon Varjo” (2021, Suicide Records). The lyrical themes revolve around the frustration and disillusionment with the cyclical injustices in our society and the gradual descent of humanity towards dystopia and complete indifference.

However, there is a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness. The single release “Nämä päivät eivät jaa sympatiaa” represents this dichotomy.

“The song is a call to action for those who are frustrated with the status quo and the tumultuous state of the world. Both musically and lyrically the song is an anthem in its own way.” -Matti Vainionpää, guitarist. The single will be released with a music video.
