Another caffeinated video as a part of my Namacoffee Series where I explore coffee places in different cities. A~nd we are stepping out of the usual touristy destination like Amsterdam and into my little town, #tilburg !

Coffee culture in the Netherlands is just so rich and vibrant. Many many cafés concentrated into one central perimeter but locals still can't seem to fit in.


Within Tilburg's centre there are about 14 places that serve coffee and espresso.
There are more within the shopping district AND other parts of the immediate centrum area, it's insane but also I feel blessed because they are easily accessible by foot or bike and most of them make a consistent, good cup of coffee.

BUT in this video I want to talk about 7 of my most favourite spots. These places serve specialty coffee made by a barista so they are a bit different from the usual chain cafés and lunchcafés ALTHOUGH some of the places included in this list do serve a good breakfast or lunch.

So let's go and explore my favourite coffee spots here in Tilburg!

⭐ CAFÉS I VISITED ⭐

TILBURG COFFEE RING OF FIRE as I call it. There's 6 different cafés within a 2km radius, it's pretty amazing if you think about it.


✨30ml Tilburg Coffee & Food - Best New Comer!
Address: Oude Markt 5, 5038 TJ Tilburg

a new addition to the coffee in centrum gang but is quickly becoming a favourite. it’s right across the always-busy Bagels & Beans but undoubtedly better coffee and more precision with every cup. I’m a fan of their flat white and would sometimes also order an iced latte depending on my mood. They serve American-style pancakes, which is always welcome for someone who periodically craves a American breakfast.


✨Mr.Morris ~ Juice, koffie en gezonde lunch - Best in Consistency
Address: Nieuwlandstraat 58a, 5038 SP Tilburg

Great coffee consistency.
Since I can be picky with my coffee but I try to give baristas patience as making good stuff is not always easy. Mr. Morris always serves a reliable cup of coffee no matter who is making it. I don’t always want coffee at the same time at the same day, so I’m very pleased with this consistency.
In the sunny days, if you sit outside facing the street, you can say hi to the dogs being walked and that is always a bonus.



✨Café Locals (Koffiebar Locals) - Best Cozy
Address: Heuvelstraat 128, 5038 AH Tilburg

Good ‘ol locals. Rain, shine, sun or snow, this coffee place is a comfort for many who live in Tilburg and for many who live around the area. There is handmade sweets all throughout the week, coffee in the afternoon, espresso martini for Borel and coffee gifts for everyone. The local cat café also uses their roast for the coffee they serve, which is a good local-busines supporting system I always appreciate noticing.


✨Pig & Rye - Best High-end, Homemade, Best for Lunch & Dinner
Address: Nieuwlandstraat 28, 5038 SN Tilburg

They do pork tonkotsu with a tomato and I don’t want to complain because 1.the broth is always spot on and 2. you probably need something fresh to cut through all the richness because that’s what they are serving. Only the best ingredients, goodness made from scratch and richness. I'm always happy to come back and try new stuff since their weekend menu is always a delicious surprise.


✨June Specialty Coffee & Brunch
Address: Nieuwlandstraat 16, 5038 SN Tilburg

June serves great coffee and has other stuff in their menu even for non-coffee lovers. It's experiencing a boom lately and it's usually the female population crowding this place up. Not complaining, but it's been a game for me that whenever I go and hang out there, I'd count the guys (usually they're the bfs) and there'd usually be 1 or two max. June is def my go to, if you’ve seen a lot of my videos. I take my journal or sometimes, my sketchbook and draw while I enjoy my coffee.
