We kick things off with an excellent condition East German rain pattern winter jacket complete with liner and shoulder boards. Cold War militaria like this is becoming increasingly hard to find, and with East Germany long gone, demand for DDR field gear is only growing. Dave also matches the jacket with authentic East German camo pants and trigger gloves, creating a full Cold War uniform set ideal for collectors or reenactors.

Up next, a reproduction First Armored Division tanker jacket enters the spotlight. While not original, this triple XL piece was part of a bulk lot—highlighting the practical side of buying and selling reproduction military gear for reenactment purposes. Dave points out the size inconsistency as a dead giveaway that it’s not an authentic WW2 issue, but still a desirable and functional item.

For those who love edged weapons, this haul features multiple antique military swords. First, a stunning Victorian-era Canadian Rifles officer’s sword with original sword knot and sharkskin grip. This piece is stamped with the Canadian Rifles insignia and offers a glimpse into the pre-WWI period of British and Canadian military tradition. Following that is a Luftwaffe officer’s sword made of aluminum by SMF, featuring Waffenamt markings and rare matching unit numbers on both the guard and scabbard—an uncommon and highly collectible find in the German WW2 militaria world.

Another sword featured is a 1912 British cavalry officer’s sword paired with an 08 pattern scabbard. Although mismatched and rewrapped in brown leather, this weapon still holds value for its craftsmanship and historical significance. Dave shares insights on how small modifications affect the overall value of militaria and what collectors should watch for.

Also included in the haul is a Japanese lacquered medal box, often misidentified as a flag box, but truly used for displaying WW2-era decorations. A World War I Memorial Cross named to Private Langley of the First Battalion is another poignant piece that connects to Canada’s military history and personal sacrifice during the Great War.

A standout item is the RAF Type B flying helmet, missing its internal components but still stamped with an R-number, identifying the original other ranks service member. It's a great example of Royal Air Force pilot gear used during World War II, valuable even in incomplete condition due to its traceable history.

For those interested in home front artifacts, the ARP (Air Raid Precautions) 1939 gas rattle makes an appearance. Designed to alert civilians during gas attacks, this loud and irritating device is marked for authenticity and still functions. Dave gives a quick demo—viewer warning: it’s loud!

From headgear, we also get a Canadian officer’s visor cap with bronze signal corps badge, complete with size label and original Canadian army buttons. It’s dirty and worn, but that "been there, done that" look adds authenticity and story to the piece.

Moving into the Pacific theater, Dave showcases a Japanese officer’s leather map case. While it's suffered some wear, the structural integrity and rarity make it an important addition to any collection. Items like this don't turn up often, and even with minor flaws, they remain in demand.

Finally, we end with a WW2 Canadian battle dress tunic complete with trousers, artillery insignia, and overseas service stripes. The uniform includes remnants of ribbon bars and a postwar receipt for a Willys Jeep found in the pocket—possibly tying it to the original soldier. Marked with the First Anti-Tank RCA and British-made Canada titles, this piece embodies the role Canadian forces played in WWII, especially those of the often-overlooked First Division.
