yeah this is hands down the most fucked up song I've covered. you don't need outside validation to prove your worth. it may feel that way sometimes, but I promise you don't. anyways, I love this song. it's so accurate in the way it portrays internalized misogyny, it hurts. this song put into words some of the hard times I went through in high school. I'm doing a lot better now, but that need for external validation is still there sometimes. I've been really happy recently but finding this cover from a few months back reminded me that it's okay to feel my emotions.

also! shoutout to weevil doing! GOD THIS SONG GOES HARD! the genre isn't something I'd typically listen to, but I love this song so so so much. it sounds so cool! and the way it samples different songs? LOVE IT

also, the wingdings in the pv say "fuck high school" (because I made this many months ago and thought it was cool and edgy) and "graphic design is my passion"
