Arms & Armor 12th Century Spear VS. Riveted Mail and Ballistic Gel

The maille hauberk (often colloquially called chainmail) was sent in by an anonymous viewer, and I don't know who made it or what material it is (although most likely mild steel). The ring thickness is 0.67mm and the outer diameter is 12.9mm.

I was not able to fit a gambeson underneath, as the mail shirt itself was already almost too tight to fit over the shoulders of the gel torso.

Riveted mail is quite resistant, especially to cuts. Much more authentic than cheap butted mail (made from bent rings that have a small gap left in them).
