How to change trhottle on xiaomi Lite 3 electric scooter?

Your scooter will beep similarly when the throttle is malfunctioning.
There is one long signal and four short signals. It is error 14. The display will show this error in red as well.
In order to change the throttle you will need to remove the rubber handle first.
Try opening the dashboard cover with a plastic card. Pulling it out by force is the only way to open it because it is glued.
The best solution for me is to use a regular plastic card.
Unscrew three bolts to remove the dashboard
And the front plastic cover is also glued. Try to pull it without breaking it.
The throttle wire has to be released and pulled out.
Unscrew the throttle and remove it from the handle.
You can use the regular throttle from other Xiaomi models.
The only difference is that the wires are mirrored. So if you plug by default - the wires will not be in sequence.
What you need to do - is to rotate the plug 180 degrees and try to connect them so the red, green, and black wires are aligned at both sides.
It is possible. It will take more force, but you can connect them that way.
Check that after connecting the throttle the error 14 is gone and there are no beeps.
And then assemble it back.
Put the rubber insulation for cables. Strap it. Put back the front plastic cover.
Tight the bolts on the dashboard. Recheck that there is no error and put the top cover.
Put on the rubber handle and tighten the throttle. Allow some space to have between the handle and the throttle. Otherwise, the throttle will not move freely.
