Vidisha Baliyan, from Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar city, was crowned Miss Deaf World 2019, the first Indian to win the contest in this category. Born with a 100% hearing impairment in her right ear and 90% in the left ear, the 21-year-old proves how ability is beyond disability. In her journey to Miss Deaf World, which took place in South Africa, she was mentored and trained by Devika Malik, a para-athlete and the Co-Founder of Wheeling Happiness.
